Hi Forum,
Some help/advice please.

My 2016 B9 air-con isn’t blowing cold...so time for a re-gas!
I’ve checked and it uses r134a.
I’ve watched a few vids, and researched online and I think I’m clear on what I need to do, so I’ve got some refill cans and the refill hose.

I’m by no means a mechanic or autospark, but I’m competent around vehicles. Probably a 3.5 to 4 spanner on the old Haynes chart(!), so just wondering if anyone can give me any advice on completing the job?
Has anyone done the B9 before?

Cheers

So, I went ahead and did the air conditioning re gas / re charge.
Very easy to do.
Low and High inlets are under the black plastic cover top right of engine bay (when stood in front).
Connect hose to Low and check pressure in case of full gas (=fault). Remove can.
Attach can to hose.
Start car and run a/c on max, cold, high fans.
Attach hose to Low.
Slightly unscrew can until hiss of pressure release from vehicle. Screw can back right.
Screw down tap into the can to pierce can, then slowly unscrew to release refrigerant.
Slowly and gently agitate can to promote transfer.
Watch gauge to desired/advised PSI.
Close tap on can.
Check cabin is nice and freezing!
Remove hose from vehicle.
Careful if can has any refrigerant left.

WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR to be safe.
