A4 quattro rear diff oil seals

Is it possible to undo the driveshaft from the diff without removing a whole load of stuff?? I was thnking maybe unbolting the diff carrier plate to give it some wiggle room. Just looking for an easy way to pop the shft off the diff wihtout having to undo half the car.

Just remove the top bolt from the rear upright and tip the upright out/forwards. This gives you enough slack on the shaft to pop it free and move it out of the way.

I did it slightly different by dropping the lower arm i didnt remove the shaft from the hub as you can see and as the bolt was ****** well tight.

I was hoping to be able to do it using ramps, as i am not that keen on crawling under the car even with axle stands, plus i know that bolts is well rusted onto the car,
