I have 4 button mmi and want to upgrade to dab radio and bluse tooth wh

Car is 57 reg and was thinking dab radio and or usb and possibly Bluetooth

Can you post a picture of the MMI screen and control panel, there are 3 MMI systems for that age of car and need to know which you have.

It has 4 button mmi controlling cd radio setup and car buttons it has red screen in the sound settings it has dsp .it also has 6 disc changer and single disc player in glove box

That is MMI basic. To fit BT you would need MMI basic plus, which would require an new control panel and may also require the main MMI module to be replaced, and for DAB you would need to fit MMI 2G which would require a lot of replacement modules, harness, control panel & screen.

Your cheapest option is an FM DAB transmitter, and for BT an aftermarket system like a parrot kit. Only down side is none of that equipment can be controlled VIA the MMI Basic system, and would need dash mount buttons to control it.
