A6 4f 2009 needle sweep not working

Hi everyone I'd like to enable needle sweep on my a6 and I have some questions
When I choose I'm vcds 17 then coding 3 then long helper I'm enabling gauge sweep then I'm pressing done but no needle sweep
Any suggestion I'm using vcds ver14

You have to press "Do it".

[Coding - 07]
[Long Coding Helper]
Click on the second byte in the list.
Check the box for "Gauge Test/Needle Sweep active"
[Do It!]

Don't know what's going wrong with yours, I followed these instructions and my 2009 Avant needle sweep works fine.

Restating MMI does not sound right, are you sure your in instruments (17)

Post a copy of the VCDS log for this controller.

Unfortunately I won't have a cable back till Friday next week
And yes I'm sure it was instruments 17 coding 7 because I did my dad's needle sweep and it worked fine
