Do A6 C6 (2006 2.0 TDi Avant) series cars have a security code for the radio?

I need to disconnect the battery to replace the airbag controller, I want to know if I'll loose the radio when I put it all back.

I have seen notes that it should be printed on a sticker in the owner's hand book - there is none. I have the Owners Manual and the MMI Manual and a bunch of other original docs. No codes anywhere, although there is an anonymous tag attached to the (plastic) service key with some 12 character alpha-numberic code - seems overkill for a radio.

If there is a code, is it retrievable before I disconnect the battery? VCDS or some other button press contortions?

It notes the last vin its used in, so you should be fine, there are times when it does throw its dummy out, but you should be ok.
