A6 C7 Avant Front Suspension Knock

Hi

I have a annoying front suspension knock.
Car went into Audi. They diagnosed it as the Curved Control Arms as the bushes were tearing on both sides.

Replaced both sides curved arms but the knock is still there.

When going over a ramp, both wheels level there is no noise.
The knocking sound is mainly when going over an uneven bumpy Road. Coming from drivers side front

Full suspension has been checked. All arms and ball joints etc are all fine.

Any help please?

Check the anti roll bar link rods. They can cause the small knocking noise when they are very slightly worn

You were right

The Droplinks had no play in them at all whilst on the car - but once they were removed it was clear the bushes had given way.

New ones fitted and noise is gone.
