Accessing Siri

with the iPhone connected to the car via cable and Car Play active, is there a way of talking to Siri?
The only way I have managed to get it working is to be shouting loudly so that the phone in the centre armrest can hear me.

In the S3 8V I could presss the voice control button on the steering wheel and talk to it.

Any ideas?

I’ve just read:

1. Locate the voice control button on the steering wheel
2. Press and hold the button
3. Speak after the waves appear on the screen

Can anyone confirm.?

I’ve just tried pressing the button normally rather than holding it in, and it tries to do the normal car voice stuff.

I press the voice button on the steering wheel and it brings up Siri.

Also go into settings on your phone then check your Siri&search settings.

Gotta make sure you keep the button pressed for a couple of seconds .. if you give it a short press, it accesses the Audi voice command .. longer press and it comes up with Siri .. hope it helps...

All good now....I wasn't holding the button in long enough.
