Advice on buying Audi A4

Hi all, iv had my Audi A3 Sportback nearly 2 years now but I'm finding myself constantly looking at Audi A4 saloons.

Iv been looking at 2013-2014 models, preferably 1.8T for up to about £18,000. I'm looking for some advice as to things to look out for, common issues etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a 2.0 TFSI A3 Sportback and never had any problems. Would the 2.0 TFSI A4 be a better option? I don't do the mileage for a diesel

I wouldn't bother with the diesel unless you're going to be doing a fair bit of mileage, and I think the fuel consumption on short trips would be similar anyway!

I've got 2012 1.8tfsi sline black edition and it's not a heavy oil drinker. The earlier models used a lot of oil but from 2012 onwards it shouldn't be a problem. I've had mine for 4 months and no problems so far.
