Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Gearbox oil Multitronic

Just had a mechanic service my 2003 A4 Multitronic, as instructed I told him to change the gearbox oil at the car had 30k miles on her. he just rang to say he is unable to do it and he rang a mate in Audi Dublin who informs him it has to be done by them... now I have to pay him for the service and Audi aswell for the fluid change... JAYSUS!!!! any idea what Audi will charge?

it cost me £130 last year

Why are you having it done at 30,000 miles anyway? IIRC, the service book says it needs doing at 40,000.
