AGU ECU - Can you read mileage counter?

Hi All,

As per the title, can you get the mileage value from the ECU, independently of whether the clocks have been changed. E.g can i get the real mileage from the ECU?

I have a OBD Eleven scan tool, but didn’t find anything. Pré-paga vagcom can do this?

Depends on the age i think. In the early models I don't believe the mileage was recorded in ecu, only cluster. Shortly after 2001 I think that was corrected. I could never read it from the ecu in my 2001 8l.

Not possible, but to check if the clock has been changed in vcds it will normally show the previous vin the clocks came from
