Air bag disposal question

Hi all,

as per my title, can anyone advise me how to dispose of a set of airbags please?
i have changed my grey interior to black and took the old one to the tip, however I am left with the airbags
from the dash, seats and steering wheel.
anyone help me out with some advice?

the tip would have took them
well ours does in sheffield.

I asked at the local tip and he said no.
Tried flogging them as well but no takers.

Take them to a dealer for detonation and disposal. Or get yourself about 20mtrs of wire, a battery and set it off and watch it fly! We had a proper detonation kit at VW.
