Air con - air in

I have a musty smell coming from the air con and have been looking on the web for answers.
Seems like its a bacteria build up in the air into the air con.
The issue is does anyone know where the air comes into air con and can recommend a product to clean it?

Aircon bomb is the item you require, audi sell them & I'm sure you can find online in various places, not expensive.

I had this on our VW Jetta. Tried the bomb type cleaners first, but they didn't work. I found this stuff did the job albeit a scary process:

Did mine with an aircon bomb & it worked a treat.

Any idea where the cabin filter is on a 2013 S4?

Looks like is a simple job, but there seems to be more than one option carbon or not so looks like I will have to get one from the dealers
