I have been having an issue with my 2014 A6 air con, and was hoping to seek some advice about what to try next.
It has climate control - dual zone - basic model (not delux with glove box / separate rear zoning).

As car cabin air temp wasn’t getting cold, I took it to local garage for regas. They informed me it didn’t need doing, but needs further investigation.
They found that high pressure system was getting to pressure but low pressure system was too low.
They also recorded driver temp as 6c and passenger 19c (ambient at the time).
No leaks found.
(despite low temp on driver side, the car never got cool)

I did have a regas last year for same issue, it was slightly cooler initially but not back to normal. At the time I told my pressures was normal then too.

I’m at a lost what to try next. Like to do a DIY fix if possible, plus there doesn’t seem to be any local a/c specialist in the area to do diagnostic and repair. Due to difference in temp in zones, I thought it could be actuator problem as per other threads - but this doesn’t explain the pressure issue (or does it?)

I would appreciate any advice what to try / test next.

Just to close this case with a solution. I have a specialist test the system with small molecule gas (can’t remember which one) but a tiny leak was found in condenser. Leak was too small for UV trace to be detected. As system already degassed, did the repair myself (part was circa £100) and got local garage to regas. All working fine since.
