Did you get that after a service?
Its definitely not new. Would say a year old at least

I have had my car serviced yesterday at 18months old. they done the job rather quickly so I checked the filters and that is the filter that was apparently brand new yesterday.

Yes Wolverhampton Audi and the date is on the filter also 2019 and my vehicle is 69. Does not look very promising that they have changed it

There are little bits yes. Vehicle has only done 10k miles. Thanks

I believe the recommended change interval for an air filter is 60k. So unless you specifically requested they change it during your recent service I would say they won't have swapped it out for new. I changed mine myself as my car is 4.5 years old at 17k & the old filter wasn't at all bad dirt wise but had a lot of tiny particles when I started tapping it over my work bench. Yours has definitely not been changed.

Yes that is understandable. Looks to be they have charged me for a full service and done an interim service. But charged me for a full. At least I will now know for next time. Thank you

The parts should be listed on the receipt /invoice. Is the filter listed?

Yes they have charged for them. But not replaced them
