Alonso is pulling it out of the bag in that hunk of junk R27. I wonder if the R28 will be of any use
 
hmm... 0.15 faster than de la Rosa. Just possible Lewis will be quicker still??!!

Yes but pretty much everyone else is running a new chassis which is still under development.

I don't think your can really read anything conclusive into the testing for a while yet.

But yes it does show that he has still got what it takes, back with his old team.

you cant really pick much out of testing as everyone is running different setups and focusing on different areas of the car but for him to be ahead of people in 08 cars and him in a 07 car shows hes not lost much of the desire to win the title

Exactly. How many times have Honda been quickest throughout the whole of pre-season testing in the past few years? He probably went out there and absolutely went for it for a couple of laps to prove a point.

I just wonder if this 4 race - 1 gearbox rule will hurt RBR considering all they had last year was gearbox failures! Should be a good season and I cant wait!
 
that was RBRs biggest downfall, if they havnt sorted it this year i feel a Toyota period coming on for them
