Alternator replacement

Hi guys,

Has anyone had a failed alternator?

If so has anyone ever replaced it? Or is this to much of a hassle to do in your own garage?

Been without the car for a week now and getting bored of waiting

It can be a fun job if you're not tech handy, so a garage is doing this for you? Shouldn't take a week lol

Mine failed but turned out to be a broken pulley thankfully - £150 supplied and fitted within the day - that was the alternator out and all
