Aluminium window trim

hi all,

Got a 5 door a3 8v shape, on the passenger side you’ve got the rear quarter window, the Ali trim at the bottom is about 8 inches long and as it curles round and goes up towards the roof it’s pinged up, I can see a clip is still attached to the trim. I’ve tried glueing it down but doesn’t last long.. Audi quoted 65 for trim and said it does prise off, but I’m a bit worried that I’ll make a hash off it


Any one removed this?

Thoughts would be appriciated

Did this on mine, they sorted it through warranty. Needed new trim both sides.

Easy job the tech said, took half an hour whilst I waited

How is this trim attached to the car body. With a 3M adhesive tape?
