Just browsing the Audi website and it shows this centre console controller when you look at the details for the RNSE.

Does anyone know if this is an old thing - I know there was a similar "idrive" style controller on the old TT.

Found one on ebay.de listed for the A3 8P, just wondered if anyone knew if this was an inclusion on the later spec A3's with the newest RNSE? Would maybe be quite handy. No experience of the RNSE myself yet, still a few month before the car arrives. It just seems to me that a remote control like this would make sense rather than having to reach across to the dash each time. On the other hand, can all navi functions now be controlled from the MFSW?

Thanks
Ash

i believe its just for the old satnav system that just shows up on the drivers DIS & has a CD in a drive mounted in the boot.

I thought it may be something along those lines. It would make even more sense for the DIS system what with no direct entry via the head unit. Me thinks Audi have a few things that need updating on their website!

Cheers
