Any body shop painters on here? Need advice painting plastic.

Hi peeps,

I have bought some brand new plastic arches for Christine. I want to rattle can them the same colour as the bodywork where its not rusty! LR5V COLOUR.

What is the best way to paint these?

I've looked online but they either painting used/pre-painted plastic or suggest using a plastic specified spray can which won't be a paint match to lr5v.

On a ripoff auction site I can get a 400ml can of paint and 500ml can of clear lacquer.

The surface on the arch is a fine, bobbly surface.

Any pointers would be appreciated. Ta

Red scotch to give it a grip and deaden it... Plastic primer which you can get in halfrauds or motor factors... Leave it dry... Prime it then... Leave dry... Flat with 800 grit wet and dry paper... Dry off and degrease it... Paint and lacquer... Job done.. The plastics may be a different shade to rest tho so be careful...
