Any help for a total newbie (2004 A8 D3 3.0l TDI Quattro)

hi all
i am totally new to all this
i have just bought a 2004 audi a8 d3 3.0 tdi quattro 82000 miles
and have just updated the mmi to 5570 and im having a few issues since the update
the sound has stopped coming from all the drivers side speakers and is only coming from the passenger side
i do have vcds and hex-can lead (but dont know what im doing)
iv run a scan and seem to have a lot of faults some apear to be really old
and some seem to be dated the same as when i did the update
any help and guidence to help get this sorted would be really appreiceated
as i feel really out of my depth at the mo.

You have most likely sorted this out, but your amp is in component protection and you need to visit an Audi Dealer to have this removed. This is a known issue with Software updates & Bose AMP's
