Quick question...

Roughly how much do you think it should cost to have someone do the following to a room of 3m x 2m:

Skirting boards and a door + door frame... remove poorly applied paint, rub down and prepare original old gloss underneath and then repaint all properly.

Same as above but for a dado rail also.

Above work would also require removing silicone from vinyl flooring edges, pull back flooring so skirting board painting can be done, and then refit and silicone vinyl flooring again.

Possibly also trimming down or sawing approx 10mm off of current height of MDF bath panel, and refit/silcone.


Ball park figures for someone to do it?? Not on the super cheap or super expensive.... just a "fair" price.

Bez is about right. Labour is around £150 a day a man, so £450 for three guys + materials is about right.
