anyone had any success setting up their email account through audi connect (in car)

Can this be done. I can view my callendar on my car display which is very handy in the mornings. However there seems to be an option for emails as well but i cant work out how to set that up

My car receives emails as well as text. It comes through a compatible mobile phone, mine, being android based, has always worked

Strugggled to get this going myself . Both calander and emails .
Get sms etc via apple play but the above would be good , but I gave up on it after it frustrated me too much

The word Apple sums it up really. Obviously make sure you have the latest version of the OS, as some broke this ability...
