Anyone have experience removing the entire dashboard?

Someone on a different forum suggested it is much easier to remove the entire dashboard (3 bolts) than trying to replace the dash upper piece since the passenger airbag blew through the top of the dash on my salvage S4 project (US). Has anyone removed a full dashboard and can give me some guidance? I have an entire dash to transplant if needed.

Thats a fun job, its just 1 of those ones where its not hard, just takes a long time to remove everything.
