Is it 100% compatible, vin doesn't necessarily denote, only sure fire way is by checking & comparing parts that are known to have the feature on other cars or logging the car.

I’m in Shipley: I’ve had a couple of VAG retrofit guys say it’s compatible, but sadly just that bit too far away to make it viable. My car does have hill start assist and the wiring diagram looks straightforward enough: I’m just not chancing touching it myself! Why it doesn’t come with it is beyond me.
I'd do it on the basis if your cars not compatible, then there would still be charges to pay, as you can appreciate it's distance & there's never a guarantee a cars compatible until you check & work on it.
