Hi,
Was looking at the above in a garage (an indie sports dealers in Birminham)
Just under 55k, S-tronic
Every option ( bar magride, Which I had on my last 8P)
Car looked very clean-
Only fly in the ointment 7 owner car. Figures with my px were acceptable but that's my worry when I come to sell is it going to be immovable unless I take a right kicking.

Looked like a good history, Few Bill's & receipts & a Cambelt change in 2017 @ 45K.
Just wondered if anyone knew the car? (With that many owners theres every chance!)

Seven is a lot, makes you think there is a long standing incurable problem.
If it’s a derv leave it alone.

Sooty is right......dont touch a Derv S3 :)

@SootySport what makes you think it's a diesel?

That aside, how much are they asking for it? Personally, 7 owners is too many - I wouldn't take a further look at it. When I was searching, one of my criteria was no more than 2 previous owners and there was plenty available at the time (Jan 17).

Looks like it's for sale with Wynford Specialist Motors for £14,995
Accoring to an old advert it had 2 owners when it was for sale in Oct 2015... so 5 owners over 4 years !?
Also car tax ran out Novemebr 2018 so possibly sat round for a year?
Nothing on the MOT check but the MOT is due on the 16th October.

Sounds a bit odd to me, no tax for nearly a year and 5 owners in 4 years. It maybe legit but just doesn’t sound right to me.
If you can’t find any more info I’d probably stay away from it unless you can get vcds plugged into it and take it for a long test drives s make sure you check all the vin numbers etc.

Aside from the number of owners I don’t think these cars are worth £15k on the yard anymore.
This is more that I paid for a 61 (MY12) in 2017. In saying that, it’s worth what someone is willing to pay!

If it was in the trade it wouldn't be on the log book.

Yes it was up at £15495. As I said I was in the area and it was literally 3 miles down the road so I thought I would have a look. I paid £14k for a 72k miles example that had Wingback Bose & magride. I had to get rid as it was manual due to my Bike accident and tried to sell it on here & ebay for 8K. No takers with the usual tossers offering me 6-7k without even seeing the car.He came back to me and was willing to chuck another Grand into the deal(I have a Scirocco Tsi DSG to px) but I want something to take me to the conclusion of my personal injury claim when a 8V RS3 or a F82 M4 comp is what I really want. As it stands I could probably stretch to a 8v S3 and where resale is concerned I would definitely be better off.
