Anyone painted their calipers

No thanks.. Ive bought discs and pads for rear, as im doing that first.. Bought Ate discs and Bosch pads..
 
took mine off and took them to work and put them in the shotblaster
cleaned them up then painted them with smoothrite black

came out really well

Didn't blast mine.. Just cleaned them up with a steelbrush.. Gotta love Hammerite
 
whats the drying times of the calipers, i need to paint mine but i used some hammerite paint on something at home a few weeks ago and took 2-3 days to fully dry and i dont have that long to have the car off the road!

Fingertouch dry in about an hour or so depending on temperatures and humidity..

ive got some hammerite wood and metal paint i used on something at home a few weeks ago and that says 16 hours drying time? is this stuff ok to use
 
I don't know.. Mine said an hour.. Perhaps yours is a different type.. Mine was only for metal..
 
Mine dried pretty quickly, I can't remember how long as it was a while ago. I can't see it being problematic though.
