Hi all.

I have recently bought a 2006 Red A3 2.0Tfsi special edition,

Seems to be a cracker so far, well looked after, seems to have had a couple of nice modifications too.

Someone has gone to the expense of fitting and EVOMS V-flow intake kit, And I just wondered if it had maybe been remapped, as a Civic Type R won't even look at it.

My father has VCDS and I was curious if there was a way to tell on this if it has had a remap before, as it's certainly something I will be looking at doing once I have a de-cat sorted out and some decent suspension.

Thanks in advance.

Interesting. I'll run that by him and see if its something we can try. I'm just curious more than anything.

Not redlined thencar yet either...

That was my first thought, but living un thebScottish Highlands these places are not very close by, looking at least a 200mile round trip.

I already run a garage haha.

If I could get away with it I'd have done it by now. Wonder how much these things cost...

Forget the rolling road idea, you can't afford it, we'll plug it in and see what's what.
(It did feel pretty quick though).
