Audi (80) Cabriolet rear speakers

I found this for the front speakers How to fit 80 B4 dash speakers - Audifans.net , nut I am yet to find out how to access the rear speakers. I used the same principal today and snapped one of the lugs to the cover. Does anyone know how to access the speakers so I can replace them?

Ok...I managed to work it out, although I have now discovered the speakers I bought are too small. But as far as removal, this is the process.

Remove the panel from the top


Then lift out


Here's a picture of the back showing the three top clips


Undo the four screws and unclip the cable


You can twist the speaker out of the metal bracket


Modify and reinstall!

what size are the standard speakers please? as there crap and would like to fit better ones!

I can't remember now. 10cm front and 12.5cm rears I think. The sound quality still isn't amazing, but it's improved.
