Hi guys ,
I wanted to upgrade the turbo on my Audi A3 1.9tdi bkc 105hp to a pd150 turbo . I am aware the pd100 used a vband downpipe whether the gt1479vb has a flange . As of right now id rather not spend more money on a downpipe. So I thought maybe I could buy fran adapter from the pd150 flange from the turbo to the pd100 downpipe and mount it together. I found various adapters like that for other models but not for this one. I work in an engineering firm so I can get the flange adapter Lazer cut and made rather cheap. I'm just wondering if I was to get it made and bolted onto the turbo would the downpipe still bolt onto it the flange adapter as the adapter would sit about 40mm further from the turbo. Any help appreciated .
