Audi A3 2011 think its concert radio with bose and aux in

hey guys,

just wondering if there is a ipod intergration i get get for the above vehicle which will display track info on the HU and DIS, i use the aux at the moment but would like something better. looking at getting the RNSe but cant afford it now in the process of buying my first house so fund a tight. is what in wanting to do possible?????

The RNS-E unit won't give you the track names anyway mate although it does display them. What gives you the track names is AMI (Audi Music Interface) which is the Audi OEM method of doing it. There are other methods like a Dension kit but I'm not familiar with this. Take a look on the A3/S3 Forum which has lots of discussions about the Dension kits.

Dension GW100 CAN will give track info on the DIS and works with radio or NAV
AMI will give track info on the NAV and DIS and only works with the 2010+ NAV

i thought dension 100 only came up with track 1 track2 ect or is that on older models.

Older models, for the past 2 years or so they have had track info in the DIS. But it has to be a CAN version.

cool. wheres the best place to purchase one of these, also what the install like, i fit parrot and fiscon bluetooth units at work so shouldnt be a problem for me.
