Audi A3 3.2 Zorst

Going in on Tuesday to have a Cobra resonated Zorst installed and a 1K0614517S ABS (which should give me Hill Assist according to the bulletin boards).

I do hope resonated means tasteful. I'm way too old for the boy racer stuff.

this is the key to the R32 sound. Take the mid resonator out, the one just after the cats. One of my favorite mods

Zorst on. Only driven it for 20 mins but quiet as a mouse around idle or pootling along. Did a fast acceleration a couple of times. Deep sound. Too early to call but very early signs are encouraging.

Now done 1000 motorway miles plus towny stuff. Great. No drone and as quiet as a mouse until you open the taps. Then glorious V6 sound ... not as good as my V8 Jag but OK actually.

I have a Neuspeed on my one, has a nice silky burble but nothing to get an asbo with.

Paused on the 1K0614517S ABS install. The bricks and mortar coding shop that my local garage uses says it wont work. Another post I've seen in the States says that my current controller 1K0614517AB will work.

All very confusing.
