Hello guys,

Have this problem occasionally with my A3, car starts and dies right away. Disconnecting the battery for few seconds helps and car starts just fine. Anyone knows where the problem is/how to fix?

Video:

Seems to be happening randomly. Checked the battery and it should be fine, have also replaced key fob batterry, no help. Had the car diagnosed and looked at by pros but they were not able to replicate the Issue when it doesn't start, nothing on diagnostic when running fine and they were not able to find any defects on the car parts.

Thanks for advices.

I'd be putting a replacement set of clocks in it, its obvious there's an issue with the current ones.

Ive seen similar cases and its usually the cluster going bad.First thing I would do is take the cluster off and get it checked

Thanks guys, do you think that they will be able to tell what's the problem with the cluster in a regular car repair shop? Heard this could be also caused by bad ignition switch.
