Audi a4 1.9tdi b6. Immobilizer issue.

As above. I just want to know us the immobilizer built into the instrument cluster or in the ecu. Reason I'm asking is my speedo isn't working and I thing that's the source off the problem. Would I have to recode it or will it work direct.

It's a immo3 so the immo needs to match both in the ecu and in the instrument cluster .//
