Audi A4 Avant B8.5 rear seat blower controls question

Hello,

This is my first time here and my first post but I'm a little confused about the rear heating controls. I son't have the fancy digital controls I only have the manual one with the 2 wheels and the 12v socket below it.

On the right wheel I can see that the wheel colour is red should I be able to rotate that wheel to turn it what I assume would be blue? Does this allow the rear passengers to choose either hot or cold?

I looked at it earlier and tried to turn it but it didn't really move so thought it would be best to ask before I end up breaking something. Below is an example picture of what I have in the rear:

That colour dial should rotate between red and blue so people in the back can cool it down if you have it on warm upfront.

Ahh mine may possibly be stuck then. I will try it again and see what happens. Thanks for the response.
