Audi a4 b6 1.9tdi quattro

I got b6 1.9 tdi quattro with dying gear box. Ive heard that u can take the gearbox from b6 2.5 tdi quattro will it fit with no problems?

I'd just get my own gearbox fixed tbh. The other box might be just as worn as the one you're removing, plus I doubt the ratio's will be identical
