Hi all,

I have Audi A4 B8 2011 with 2.0 tdi with engine code CAH (125kw). I noticed that my car can drop coolant water temperature from 90 degrees if I have cabin heather turned on. There is no way it can reach 90 degrees with cabin heating turned on if I drive it regularly. Everything depends on the pressure that is put on gas pedal, by climbing up hill it can reach 90 degrees easily, but if I am cruising it usually drops to 80,70 or even less.

Few day ago I did replacement of timing belt since it reached appropriate mileage for that, water pump is also changed, main thermostat is replaced with brand new(factory numbers 03L 121 111 AD).

Main thermostat replacement did not solved the issue I had. Then after checking the car again, they told me only part which can make troubles is part with factory number 03L 122 157 M (some hose with two valves).

My question is, can I buy those valves separately without buying whole hose since it is not so cheap in OEM?

I found following parts but I am not sure does they fit in my case? Their factory number are:
1K0 121 113 A
1J0 122 351

I am really confused, because when I am researching parts by typing 03L 122 157 M number I can spot those two pars with numbers above being placed in the hose.

03L 121 111 AD - this is main thermostat
1K0 121 113 A - this is an auxiliary thermostat - and I believe this is what is sitting on the whole hose with part number 03L 122 157 M
1J0 122 351 - this is non-return valve, forces coolant to flow only one direction
one more part O-ring seal: 06B 121 687 - for main thermostat
