Audi A5 rear LED light reverse light failure- help please :-)

Hi All

I have a 2010 audi A5 3.0tdi special edition with the rear LED lights and its showing a reverse light failure on the car display.
I have removed the rear light cluster (whole unit) which was easy, but nothing seams accessible to change anything. Will I need a complete new cluster or can these be broken down and the reverse light/led be replaced? If so has any done this before and if so-how?

I'm pretty sure the reverse light is still a replaceable filament bulb, might be wrong.
