Audi A6 Avant 3.0 Le Mans - Winter Wheels

Hi Guys,

New to the forum. I have just picked up the new car, loving it already just a quick question which I think I may know the answer too already, but thought I would ask you fine people.

I had a set of 18 Inch Winter wheel & tyres from the previous car. Tyres on them were 225/40/18

Wheels

• Width : 8.5J
• Diameter : 18 Inch
• Bolt Pattern : 5x100
• Offset : 35

I assume I wouldn't be lucky enough that these would be a fit for the A6? Just good to know before I sell them.

Tyres should really be 245/40 x 18.
Wheels are generally 8 inch wide in the 18 inch diameter and the offset, I think, should be ET 43mm.
Your biggest problem is that the bolt PCD is 5 x 112 on the A6.
Centre bore size is 57.1mm

PCD is incorrect as per above.

17" will also fit, even on a 3.0 TDI. The tyre size you need for those are 225/50/17

Yeah thought it would be lucky if they were suitable. May sell them and put towards a new set of wheels. Last car was FWD so having the Quattro will no doubt give an advantage anyway.

No it doesn’t. Goes by the engine size and drivetrain.

The 3.0 tdi se has 320mm front and 300mm rear, Sline has 345mm front and 330mm rear
