Audi blue tooth installed but stuck on coding

I've just put in blue tooth into my cab and coded the wheel and checked the telephone settings and all is correct but when I press the telephone button on rns e it say telephone not installed .what do I need to do model number is 8po 862 335m

do you need to pair the phone with the unit?

Done that and still the same I can say the numbers and make calls but still says phone not connected
