Hi All,

I have a 2007 Audi A4 with the first generation RNS-E MMI unit and i've noticed that there are two SD memory card slots. Couple of questions, whats the maximum capacity that the unit supports? Is it as straight forward as buying a memory card, putting music onto it and then plug & play?

Appreciate any help!

You can put two 2gb SD cards in, nothing larger, 2gb SDHC's will not work

Oh & keep the titles short, edit them down or they won't play, must be MP3 as well.

thanks. That's really crap about only being able to use 2GB! May have to look at the aux input instead then

2GB ? The max size card for RNS-E Mk1 is 4GB. The problem is finding 4gb Sd cards as the HC cards won't work.

Media are limited to 400 files and 256 folders.

Filenames are limited to 64 characters.

All the info can be found in the RNS-E user manual which am pretty sure is still available on the web in pdf format.
