The S1 is a great little car, but one problem is that there’s no where to put your mobile phone and still see the screen if you want to use the phone sat nav app. Any way I’ve just bought this carbon fibre magnetic phone holder which is secured behind the two central
air vents in the dash. Got it from :
www.oem-mounts.com
It comes with the hook tool to remove the air vents and two self adhesive magnetic stripes which fit either inside your phone cover or to the back of your phone. Looks ok and secures the phone really securely.

Well it took about 15 minutes to fit and it looks good. The hook tool supplied with the phone mount was perfect for removing the air vents. Holds the iPhone really well and doesn’t move at all even on spirited drives. Here’s a couple of photos - hope they help :

Yeah they're good, my only request is the sheet metal could be a little thicker to stop the mild flexing I experience with the holder, don't get me wrong they're great & for the price its a no brainer.

This one was made of real carbon fibre 1mm thick (2x2weave) so was just fine.

The mount is great, I've had the metal version for over a year now. Once or twice the rubber-covered circular magnet holder has gotten a bit loose, leading to it rotating on the mount and thus the phone swaying left and right, but it's easily fixed by just rotating it clockwise to re-tighten.
