Have a look here.

The wheels are 5 x 114.3 whereas the car is 5 x 112
The wobble bolts have loose collars which enable them to fit different wheel fitments.

Those RS6 reps dont look like they do on an RS6/5/6/7 is the offset dramatically different? I guess they are 21" on the bigger cars too :-/

Decided to get the S3 C0Z alloys powder coated in anthracite matte. Should be finished tomorrow, pictures to follow. I think the polished / gloss anthracite of the C0Z is a bit messy and they are a ****** to keep maintained, any hint of a kerb and the polished surface is ruined. Hope I made the right decision

just a quick question if I was going to buy a new set of wheels 18 or 19" would the car look right with it not being lowered or is lowering pretty much a must when you change the wheels to aftermarket?

thanks

Do you have an S3/Sline? You'd probably get away with it if you do, just....
Any other suspension setup and you'd want to go lower. But then again you have room to lower on Sline & S3 suspension and it will look better

sorry its an s3. yeah what happened is I have curbed the diamond cut alloy on my wheel today and im just weighing up the option. I don't really want to go down the lowering route but if I have to I have to.

thanks

Thought it time for a change...

The 8j fills the wheel arches nicely :chuncky:

Just wanna resurrect this thread. Actually, I've been looking for a "rimz" thread similar to one at the 8P section that has 78 pages of useful information. I saw people are asking questions about rims all the time, but nobody shares anything in this wheel dedicated place.

Why is this thread so inactive? The last post was more than three years ago. It's a shame. Should we start posting here again? Should we request renaming this thread from the S3 8V to the A3/S3 8V (or just 8V) wheels thread and make it sticky for more activity?

Personally, I have fitment questions and I got tired of browsing all the picture and build threads (not that they aren't interesting) collecting small crumbs of information here and there. Come on people!

Does anyone have black S3/A3 S-line 5 double spoke rimz? Would you share some pictures of your car with them on?

19x 8.5 et 45 fit with 235-35-19's
I went for P-Zeros with the AO spec these have a deep lip too for rim protection which looks good and actually adds a few mm onto the tyre with. No issues what so ever on Standard S3 sportback suspension, loads of spare room and the front tyres are about flush with front archs when looking from above.

Mind sharing some pictures?

Here’s are the pics. Not the best but should give an idea on firmest. The fronts arguably poke a couple of mm (basically the rim protection part) which wouldn’t exist with contis or similar but this looks fine in the flesh. Was worried that they would poke and look too extreme until I fitted but actually looks oem / ever so slightly aggressive but not offensive at all. Not had any adverse opinions from purist friends.

If to trust the pictures, the rear tyres poke a little more than the front ones? It would be interesting to see the front look taken from a very sharp angle that shows the front bumper/wing part and the wheel. I'm still on a 8P SB and my summer setup is 8x18 ET42. It looks flush from above and from the back, but when I look from the front at a certain angle, I see the tyre treads and it makes it look like it pokes. It wasn't like this when my 8P was 7 mm lower on different springs.

I've been thinking of Pretorias as an option since I saw them last summer on a GTI Clubsport. It was a white GTI with black optics and 18" glossy black rims and it looked cool. Mind me asking why there are BBS centre caps on your wheels instead of Audi rings? Don't Audi centre caps fit the Pretoria rims?

P.S. What wheel size are they and are there any spacers?
