Hi all, ive got a problem with the wifes s3 its a 2003 225 bhp sometimes the powers there and other times its like someones removed the turbo its not misfiring or running off at all it just feels on occasions like a standard 1.8. I`ve only changed the air flow meter so far. Any thoughts guys???

I've had a similar problem. With mine it was down to the hoses connecting the DV that played up. Small cracks where they met the DV and hoses not tightened properly. Cut off a few milimeters of rubber and bought new "clamps" and the problem was gone.
Could be worth it to check that area out..
