Hello, I’ve got a 2010 S4 with 90k miles on the clock. I’ve started noticing some issues and it only happens every now and again. Most of the time shifting from 1st-2nd under full throttle i experience a big delay in acceleration and even sometimes it takes itself all the way up to 8k but then every other shift is fine afterwards. Recebtky started having slight delay in some other gears as well but i’d say 80% of the time I can just put my foot down and it’ll shift perfect so i’m not sure if just a service and TCU remap will fix it, finger crossed it does. Driving normally the car shifts absolutely fine just under full load it’s sometimes iffy. Anyone have any suggestions, Praying it’s not the mechatronics Unit

When was the last time the fluid and filters changed? Is the car mapped? If the car hasn't had a DSG service recently I would get take it to a reliable VAG specialist to get the fluids and filter changed as well as a diagnostic and run the gearbox adaption diagnostic.

Last service was at 64k, so it’s definitely due one i’m getting it booked in now as we speak and going to get it looked at and probably a TCU upgrade see if that can sort out the issues then go from there, Yeah car is Stage 1
