Audi S4 steering wheel swap

Hi guys, I’m looking to swap my Audi S4 (2017) steering wheel (non flat bottom) to a flat bottom steering wheel and have found an Audi A3 S-line (2019) steering wheel (flat bottom). All the buttons are the same and everything was guaranteed to be working by the breaker. Can anyone confirm if they’ve heard of this swap and if so does it work? Looking to swap it fairly soon so would appreciate any advice quickly

Not 100% sure but you should check that the airbag from your original wheel connects properly to the wheel. New wheel being from another type of vehicle that could cause problems. The airbag looking the same does not assure that it is correct one.

I changed my standard wheel for an A3 fb wheel and although the buttons were the same the airbag wiring was a mare as the new wheel was a year newer than mine!
