If anyone has any knowledge in below please help me.
I bought 57 plate s5 with what I was told was chain issue it turns out to be broken valve which made a lot of damage beyond repair. Anyway long story short I need a second hand engine. I found few cheaper units on ebay but one seller is stating that because I have magnesium intake later post 2008 engines won't fit due to some differences in heads is that correct would audi change heads for newer plastic intakes??? When comparing part numbers post 2008 and mine are same so has anyone have any info??
