Why do Audi only replace the fuel filter on diesels when you take it to them to get it serviced? The say that they replace the spark plugs on petrol engines.

I guess its to make it more economical for car owners, I've changed this for clients many times when doing other work, strange audi wont just charge you for some time to do it though.

Because the quality of petrol doesn't vary as much as diesel so most petrol car have a 'lifetime' filter.

You can't replace spark plugs on a diesel engine because it doesn't have any.

They change as little as possible in the workshop to save money so they can charge extortinate labour for the cup of coffee with dusted chocolate audi rings ontop whilst you wait.
