Audi SQ5 Crash - airbag light on?

Hi guys

I’ve bought a damaged 2015 64 plate SQ5 with light rear damage.
Strangely the airbag light is on

I’ve not taken delivery of it just yet but does this car have crash sensors in the rear of the car? Or would it most likely be the seat belts tensioners that have gone?

Hi, yeah as above get the diagnostics on it. These are very sensitive these things. I have seen the lights come on even when someone has put something under one of the front seats and nudged the wiring. My brothers touran years ago that was the case so I quick check of wiring then clear the code and that was it never came back on. Get a code have a check/fix then reset hopefully you’ll be good to go. Do let’s us know how you get on.
