Audi UK - TSB - Replacement of fuel delivery unit

Just a heads up...

Since 18th Jan 16 Audi UK has a field measure for replacement of the fuel delivery unit.

You have to register and it costs 7 euro for an hours use, but you can see pretty much everything regarding your vehicle using your VIN.

My 2014 S3 is having the FDU replaced on Monday. Was advised to go to the garage with less than quarter of a tank.

Not sure exactly which year / models are affected. I would ring your dealership and query it.

Audi Australia details the same however gives some manufacture dates:

Thanks for the heads up but is it all petrol engines?

Both the USA and Australian recall info suggests it effects all petrol engine vehicles. The A3 and S3 are likely to share the same fuel pump.

Ok thanks, mine has just had a two year service done, nothing was said. However as I took delivery of the car in January 2014 it may not be one of the affected ones..
