As the title, are they any good?

Anything put in at the factory is usually susceptible to being always in the same place so once thieves know that it’s quicker for them to disable it.

I had a Re-Wire security tracker on my 8V.

Easy to fit and I buried it deep in the car.

Ran it off a Giff-Gaff SIM card

As the title suggests the Audi Vodaphone tracker is, I imagine any tracker would be until they start interfeering with the vehicle electronics

Both my last two Porsches had vodaphone SIM cards in the car during build and it was up to you if you wanted the tracker activated. I did and I had no problems at all during my ownership.

Apparently (according to my installer) this tracker does have the facility to be able to stop the car, but, the VW/Audi group doesnt like that idea in case the car is stopped and then causes an accident which could end up being their fault.......................typical Audi/VW only interested in protecting themselves again
